Arrival by Air
The most convenient airport is Baltimore-Washington International (BWI)/Thurgood Marshall Airport. It is about 25 miles from downtown Annapolis. There are very few good direct public transportation options. You can take Uber or Lyft, and there are a lot of private companies that have vans or shuttles from the airport to Annapolis. The best way to find them is to do a Google search for “BWI to Annapolis transportation.”

Food Service
Starting with a Monday afternoon snack, MOLLI will provide all meals except Wednesday’s evening meal, plus mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks, and all-day coffee, tea, soda, and water. Participants will be on their own for the Wednesday evening meal, providing an opportunity for social networking and sightseeing. There are several restaurants, from fast food to fine dining, within walking distance of the hotel.

The historic downtown area is walkable. Main Street contains many shops and restaurants, including Starbucks. Maryland Avenue, just around the corner from the hotel, is home to art galleries, antique shops, boutiques, and the Old Fox Bookstore. Washington, D.C. is approximately 25 miles west of Annapolis. The Washington Metro System is the easiest way to get to DC. Unfortunately, the metro line does not come all the way to Annapolis; the closest metro station is New Carrollton on the orange and blue lines. The Chesapeake Bay and Maryland’s Eastern Shore are just a few miles east of Annapolis, easily reachable by car or service, such as Uber or Lyft.
