Remember to Keep Breathing

When you open your eyes and you mind is already screaming,

And you wish you were asleep and still dreaming.

Close your eyes and remember to keep breathing.

When you want to crumble to the ground and give up,

Remember to keep breathing and that you’re tough.

When you walk to class and feel paranoid by everyone you pass,

Remember to keep breathing and to put on your smiling mask.

When you sit in your seat and your hands start to sweat.

Remember to keep breathing and you can face any challenge met.

When you’re too tired and your body wants to give up,

Remember to keep breathing and visit Allara for a nice hot cup.

When you feel like the world is cruel and mean

Remember to keep breathing and know you have a team with Mr. Green.

When you’re freaking cause your grade needs to be higher,

Remember to keep breathing and call on your advisor.

When it feels like everything is caving in.

Remember to keep breathing, grab some paper and let it flow out your pen.

Lastly, don’t forget why you’re here, to do better, to be better, for you!!

Just remember to keep breathing.
