Write a response to a TED Talk (The Disarming Case To Act Right Now On Climate Change) and a reading text (Practical Smart Advice For Changemakers From A Young Climate Activist) that integrates information from both texts; improve comprehension through differentiating main ideas from details in listening and reading texts; learn about phrasal verbs; use reported speech to outline a specific argument made by the TED Talk speaker; review grammar from each week of the program: gerunds/infinitives, prepositions, transitions and phrasal verbs; practice paraphrasing; learn new vocabulary; and finally, develop a variety of other language skills to support everyday communication.
