Wisconsin Flora and Fauna
This activity draws upon pre-existing public curation projects and OER materials. The nature crowdsourcing website iNaturalist encourages users to make their photographs available for reuse by using a Creative Commons license. Other users curate public resource guides such as “Driftless Wisconsin Flora and Fauna,” the resource whose images are included in the above question set. Resources like iNaturalist and Siftr make it possible to quickly create learning content that is specifically tailored to UW students’ experience in Wisconsin.
