Introduce Lesson Two and motivate students
Have students try and find the human face in the photo of the tiger

Hint: it is a profile picture on the left side of the tiger’s face

Perception attaches meaning to what you are seeing while you are driving

 

Target Area Searching Video

 

Group Activity- Have students count the number of oncoming vehicles

Answer: 16 vehicles and 7 bicycles

Conduct counting activity. Have students count out loud in class before the video. Practice counting “1001, 1002, 1003, etc. to get timing correct
Judging Gaps

Ask students to count and time gaps in the video

Re-Introduce SIM: Search – Identify – Manage

Discuss the difference between an open space and a closed space
