Have students fill in the blanks on how far low beam and high beams illuminate.
- Low beam – 182 feet
- High beam – 350 feet

Have students in the space provided fill out the legal requirements for low beam, high beam, and fog lights.
- Low beam- sunset to sunrise and when your visibility is less than 1000 feet ahead. During daylight hours use low beams and whenever environmental conditions cause low visibility.
- High beams- more than 500 feet for oncoming traffic and more than 350 feet when following a driver, you can use your high beams. Only at night.
- Fog lights- only when it is foggy
