Complex situations are driving environments that have added risks. Multiple contributing factors such as size, shape, speed, location, visibility, emotions, confusion, and frustration require a higher level of awareness. Applying SIM and knowing how to respond will help you manage the risk.
You will encounter many different types of roadway users in complex situations and some are considered Vulnerable Roadway Users.
